While it is possible to download and install third party apps from the Google Play Store, please understand that it is impossible for HIMS technical support staff to assist you with this process or support the literally thousands of applications available on the Play Store. With that said, you will find a list of known accessible apps on the HIMS web site which is updated periodically. This listing of accessible apps is in no way considered all inclusive, so please let us know as you come across apps that you think should be added to the list because this is a community effort and discovery is half the fun.
Step 1: Navigate to the main menu, if necessary, by pressing F1.
Step 2: Open the Play Store by pressing the letter P (dots 1, 2, 3, 4).
Step 3: Navigate to the search field by pressing the letter S twice (dots 2, 3, 4).
Step 4: Press Enter twice so that you can add or edit text.
Step 5: Type the name of the app you wish to search for.
Step 6: Navigate to your desired app by pressing F3 until that app is in focus.
Step 7: Press Enter on the app you want to install.
Step 8: Navigate to the Install button by pressing F3.
Step 9: If you wish to read what access the app requires, press F3 until you reach the end of the list.
Step 10: If you wish to simply accept the requirements, navigate to the Accept button by pressing the letter A (dot 1). This begins the download and installation process.
The amount of time it takes for an app to download and install varies due to internet connection speed, app size, and other factors.
